Help for CausalMD the Essentia Proteomica server

Mode

CausalMD applies two basic methodologies: DTF and Granger, and two supporting procedures: Lagplots (for graphics) and SBC (determining the order of autoregression).

File name

Name of the signal file. The signal file consists of k columns and n*ntrial rows of real numbers, where k is number of channels in the given signal. The signal file has to have a newline char at end of the file.

Nb of samples

Number of samples.

Nb of trials

Number of all trials in the signal. Total number of lines in the signal file equals to be nsamples*ntrials.

Max AR model order

The maximal AR model order for which the Schwartz-Bayesian Criterion (SBC) will be computed or for which DTF calculations will be carried out.

AR model order

The optimal AR model order for which DTF calculations will be performed. You can use CausalSBC application for setting value of this parameter.

Sampling interval

Time sampling interval in [ps].

Fourier transform resolution

Fourier transform resolution in DTF calculations.

Sign Level

Fraction of trials generated via the surrogation method that will be used to define the significance level of DTF results.

Nb of surrogation trials

Number of surrogation trials.
